Design a wooden name sign

Type a name, choose a color for every letter, and see your sign before you order. Each chunky letter is laser-cut from colored wood and glued into its own inlaid pocket. Ready to hang on a door or wall.

Letters A–Z, up to 10 per row. Type <3 for a heart or * for a star.
Rows
Two rows fit a first and last name, or a longer name split in two. The sign is about twice as tall.

For letters like O, D, B and 8: cut out so the wood shows through, engraved as an outline, or left solid.

How it's made

Letters are cut from 1/8" color-finished basswood and glued permanently into pockets in a finished basswood plywood board, backed with sturdy 1/4" plywood. Two hidden keyhole slots on the back hang it on a nail or screw.

Two sizes

2.5" letters on a 4" tall sign, or 3" letters on a 4.5" tall sign. Longer names make a wider sign, up to 18", so very long names may only fit at 2.5" or on two rows. The preview shows the exact size.

Colors on screen

Colors are close to the real wood but screens vary. Painted wood can also show a little grain.

Decor, not a toy

This is a wall or door sign with the letters glued in place. It is not a puzzle or a toy. Hang it out of reach of young children.
